Teen Killed, 3 Others Hurt in Circleville Crash

CIRCLEVILLE (Ken Hines) -- State troopers are investigating a crash that killed a 13-year-old boy and injured three others on Sunday morning.

The teen was fatally injured when his mother lost control of the family's 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix while driving on Stoutsville Pike. The vehicle traveled over the center line of the road, where it was struck by a 2000 Geo Tracker.

The deceased victim's mother, 36-year-old Kristy Stone, and his 4-year-old sibling, were also injured in the crash, as was the driver of the Tracker, 75-year-old F.D. Easterday.

The conditions of Stone and her surviving child -- both of whom are receiving treatment at Berger Hospital -- have not been released. Easterbrook is listed in serious condition at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
