Police Charge Suspects with Murder After Linden Woman's Death

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Two men accused of shooting a woman Tuesday night in the Linden area have been charged with murder following the death of their alleged victim.

Authorities upgraded charges against Terry Nichols and Brian Hill to murder after Patricia Pallenberg died at the OSU Wexner Medical Center on Wednesday afternoon.

Police found Pallenberg suffering from a bullet wound to the chest in front of a McGuffey Road home at approximately 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators believe Nichols and Hill shot Pallenberg on E. Hudson Street.

Nichols and Hill were arrested on Wednesday. They were initially charged with felonious assault while doctors unsuccessfully attempted to save Pallenberg's life.

Anyone with information about the murder is encouraged to contact the Columbus Division of Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730, or Central Ohio Crimestoppers at 614-645-TIPS.
