Police: Caller Threatens Columbus Middle School on Monday, Tuesday

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Investigators believe one person is responsible for threats called in to a central Ohio middle school on two consecutive days.

Woodward Park Middle School students were taken out of class on Monday and Tuesday after officials received threats made over the phone by an unknown caller. Investigators have not released specific details about the content of those calls.

Searches conducted by police on both days failed to turn up evidence of danger. Students were evacuated from the school on Monday, but remained in the building's auditorium during Tuesday's search.

Columbus police officers and Columbus City Schools officials are investigating the threats.
