Pickaway Co. Road Remains Closed Because of Fuel Spill

PICKAWAY COUNTY (Ken Hines) -- A tanker truck crash that spilled thousands of gallons of ethanol into a stream has closed a central Ohio road for a second straight day.

Ohio Department of Transportation officials expect State Route 104 to remain closed between State Routes 762 and 316 through Thursday night because of the Wednesday evening spill.

The tanker dumped 2000 gallons of ethanol after traveling off the road and crashing into a guard rail.

Cleaning crews are working to remove the fuel from the stream.
