Conversations Surface in Newark Teacher Sex Investigation

NEWARK (Lisa Rantala) -- More incriminating conversations are surfacing involving a Newark teacher now accused of having sex with a student.

That's according to the Licking County prosecutor.

ABC 6/FOX 28 has obtained conversations prosecutors say tony miller had with six different students.

In one, Miller calls the girl "sassy."

He says he "likes it."

It ends when the girl's boyfriend writes, "She's with her bf.. Do you mind?"

Music teacher Tony Miller was the assistant band director for Newark High School and prosecutors say he would make sexual comments to certain band members and also touch them in a sexual way.

They also say he's contacted students on Facebook for sex and did have sex with several over the years.

Going over some of the alleged conversations, Miller tells some of the girls he's a sex addict and asks them to come over.

One mother of a band member tells ABC6/FOX 28 she's heard about Tony Miller for years.

"Honestly.. There was speculation that he was seen at the red lobster with a young girl and her mother. That doesn't surprise me," said the mother, who did not want to be identified.
She says other rumors include, "He had multiple girlfriends of school-aged girls and he was seen in public around here with them."

The prosecutor is taking all evidence collected to a grand jury next Wednesday.
