Teen Dies After Rolling Truck in Galloway
COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Police have released the name of a teen who died Friday morning after rolling his car on a Galloway road, forcing responders to extricate him from the vehicle.
Medics transported David Denega to Doctors Hospital in Columbus with life threatening injuries after removing him from his Mini Cooper on Bousch Road near Alkire Road at approximately 8:45 a.m. Denega, 18, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Denega was driving eastbound when his car traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole, causing the teen to be partially ejected from the vehicle.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash, and have not ruled out the involvement of drugs and/or alcohol.
