Police Search for Suspect in N. Columbus Bank Robbery

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Police have released a surveillance photo that shows an armed suspect robbing a North Side bank on Thursday morning.

The unidentified suspect brandished a gun while demanding cash from a teller at Fifth Third Bank at 4080 N. High St. at approximately 10:26 a.m., according to investigators.

The suspect fled the bank on foot after committing the robbery.

The robber is described as African-American, 20-30 years of age, 5'10"-6'0" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black peacoat, black hoodie, billed hat, khaki pants, and a black scarf over his face during the robbery.
