Racist Propaganda Sent to Delaware Man on Martin Luther King Day

Delaware (Jen French) -- A Delaware man said he got some malicious mail on Martin Luther King Jr. Day: KKK propaganda.

He said the letter is racist and is worried the sender may do harm. The man asked ABC 6/FOX 28 not to be identified for safety reasons.

What he found in his mail Monday was a black and white piece of paper with KKK messages surrounding an image of Martin Luther King Jr. It included two phone numbers, one from North Carolina.
Both play recorded messages that denounce Martin Luther King Jr.

The man, who said he is afraid to leave his home, contacted Delaware police and the FBI.

Delaware police say this is the first letter of this kind they've ever seen.

Law enforcement said there is sending or receiving mail cannot be considered a crime unless the sender is threatening someone.
