Two Rhinos Born at the Wilds

CUMBERLAND, Ohio (Ken Hines) -- Two white rhino calves recently born at the Wilds are ready to greet visitors to the central Ohio conservation center.

The calves -- born on November 21 and January 3 -- are the third and fourth rhinos to enter the world at the Wilds since September, 2013, and are the 19th and 20th such animals currently housed at the facility.

The calves share a father, 11-year-old Fireball, but have different mothers, Sally and Eve, both 7.

The calves and their mothers are healthy, according to a Wilds spokesperson, and will be introduced to the rest of their herd in the spring.
