Red Cross Volunteers Revist Flooded Marion County

VILLAGE OF GREEN CAMP (Jen French) Several towns in Marion County still have water damage after Decembers downpour. The American Red Cross went door to door Saturday to make sure everyone was helped.

In The Village of Green Camp, Mayor Michael Strawser showed volunteers which homes were hit the hardest.

Volunteers stopped by Patricia Hendersons home to see if she needed help with cleanup. A few weeks ago, her carpet was underwater.

"They're trying to find payment for reimbursement for carpet cleaning, Henderson said.

"We just want to make sure that we've reached out to all of the folks affected by the flooding and they know of the assistance that's available from the red cross, Matt Bertram said, Red Cross CEO of the Greater Columbus and Central Ohio Region.
