Woman at Large After Robbing S. Columbus Gas Station

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- Police are searching for a woman who allegedly implied she had a gun while robbing a South Side gas station early Thursday morning.

The suspect threatened an employee at Speedway at 1165 S. High St. at approximately 4:30 a.m. before quickly leaving the station with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber was inside the store for approximately 30 seconds, according to detectives.

The employee was not harmed during the robbery. No customers were inside the business while the crime was underway.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female in her mid-20s, approximately 5'5" tall and 130 lbs. with blond hair. She was wearing a black coat and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
