Toy Thief Who Hit Lewis Center Worker with Car Still At Large

COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A suspect who struck an employee with a vehicle while fleeing a store parking lot with a stolen toy continues to elude deputies.

Investigators released surveillance images Monday that show the unidentified suspect run out of Radio Shack in Lewis Center on December 21 at approximately 6 p.m. while carrying a remote-controlled truck, and then strike a pursuing manager with his getaway vehicle.

Two additional people were inside the suspect's car when it struck the manager, who suffered minor injuries. The alleged accomplices have not been identified.

The driver is described as African-American, 5'11"-6" tall, and 230-250 lbs.
