People Brave Arctic Blast

GAHANNA--Winter hasnt given up. Though temperatures have hit record lows, people still braved the arctic blast. Some are anxious for the storm to be over.

A quick trim at the barber shop was all Brian Hutter and his son needed, but to Hutter winter has been anything but brief.

"His hair was getting really long. It has been awhile. We haven't been able to get out because it's been so cold, Hutter said.

Next week may be just as numbing. A frigid February could be ahead. Though most drove well below the speed limit, some cars still slipped into ditches. Saturday morning, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers closed Intersate 70 in West Licking County after several cars crashed on the highway.

It was a day where patience wasnt just a virtue, but a necessity.

"We needed to come in early to shovel. We also have a staff member who wasn't able to come in yet. She's on 270, Linda Kick said, Dublin business owner, "We're hoping she going to be able to get in--and she's ok."
