AAA: Winter Storms Led to Lower Gas Prices

COLUMBUS -- Ohio drivers saw a 12-cent drop in gas prices since last week, a savings AAA attributes to the winter storms and a decrease in demand.

The statewide average is now at $3.06 a gallon.

While allowing for a small savings, the price drop still isn't enough for some drivers.

"You can hardly move," driver Booker Lake said. "You have to go to one destination and back because you're trying to save money."

"I wish it could go back to 99 cents like it was in the '90s," he added.
