People Getting Jump Start on Shoveling Sidewalks

COLUMBUS (Tara Morgan) -- While some got a jump start on shoveling sidewalks others decided to wait and play in the snow.

Shoveling snow took second place to playtime for the Flack family off Dayton Avenue north of the OSU campus near Clintonville.

Jarrod Flack turned cement steps into a slippery slope for his seven year old son.

"Got home before it got bad and my son had a lot of energy," said Flack.

Across the street, an OSU student worked to clear her sidewalk in front of her house so she could get to her night class.

"Had to get the sidewalks shoveled so people can get through without people getting their shoes all wet so we could walk a little to our cars at least," said Lindsay Nolan.

Area restaurants also cleared a path for customers so they wouldn't slip and fall.
