Plastic Cow in Buckeye Lake Goes Missing

COLUMBUS (Lisa Rantala) -- A Central Ohio man said his cow sculptures have become a target of pranks.

A life-size cow made of plastic was stolen a few days ago from Ray King's art studio in the Buckeye Lake area. It is the third time it has happened, King said.

King got the grazing cows from China several years ago, but they have since ended up elsewhere.

Pranksters have taken a cow out in the middle of the road and, in another incident, placed it on the top of a school.

This time, however, the work hasn't turned up.

King said the piece is worth more than $1,000.
