Sole Customer during McDonald's Robbery Shaken by Incident

COLUMBUS (Lisa Rantala/Kate Liebers) -- One customer was sitting inside the restaurant when masked gunman robbed a North Columbus McDonald's Wednesday morning.

Margaret Moore said she heard the screams and called police, all while shaking over her breakfast.

"They were yelling, 'Call police. Call 911. There's somebody in the office with a gun,'" Moore said. "It literally got me shaking because I was the only one (in the dining area)."

Moore, a regular at the East Dublin Granville McDonald's, found herself in the middle of a possible fast-food crime spree.

Police said the suspect may be the same robber who hit three other McDonald's last month.

No one was reportedly injured as the gunman held employees in a bathroom at gunpoint. Moore said he took a lot of money out of the safe before fleeing the scene.

Not knowing if the robber will strike again, Moore said her morning routine will change.

"Next time I'll go through the drive-thru and take my food to go."
