'Stand Your Ground' Passes House Committee

COLUMBUS (Chris Vanocur) -- Ohio's controversial "Stand Your Ground" Bill passed its first legislative hurdle Tuesday.

House Bill 203 would expand the use of lethal force in self-defense.

Tuesday afternoon, after extensive and passionate debate, the bill was passed by a House legislative committee.

It now goes before the full House for a vote.

If successful there, the bill would then proceed to the Senate for consideration.
