Police Search for Burglary Suspects in Southeast Columbus
COLUMBUS (Kellie Hanna) -- Police burglary detectives are looking for who is responsible for breaking into several Verizon stores around Central Ohio.
One burglary happened just after 3:30 a.m. at 3807 South Hamilton Road. The burglary alarm went off and notified police of the break-in.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the front door had been smashed in.
They do not have anyone in custody, but say this is similar to several other Verizon store break-ins overnight.
Police say the Verizon stores in the Polaris area, Westerville, and the 4000 of N. High Street were all burglarized overnight.
Police are waiting to talk to the owner to inventory what was taken from the store at S. Hamilton Rd. and Winchester Pk.
No one was injured as a result of these break-ins.
