Judge Acquits Former OSU Player in Road Rage Case
DELAWARE (Kellie Hanna) -- A judge has acquitted Ohio State football legend, Jim Stillwagon.
Stillwagon was on trial for road rage after he was involved in a chase while he was on his motorcycle last year between Marysville and Delaware.
He was charged with four counts of felonious assault, but the case never even made it to the jury.
The incident ended with Stillwagon firing shots the driver of a pick-up truck. The bullet grazed him in the head.
The judge ruled today that the evidence was clear that Stillwagon was acting in self-defense and that he was "in fear for his life."
Stillwagon's attorney was emotional afterward and said the grand jury indicted the wrong man.
