Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Teen for HS Threats
PATASKALA (Kellie Hanna) -- A 15-year-old student from Watkins Memorial High School in Licking County is being held in the juvenile detention center after he made threats to shoot people at the school.
A faculty member heard the boy say he was going to get a .22 caliber handgun and shoot students at the school today.
The teacher notified the Licking County Sheriff's Department of the statements the teenager made Wednesday.
Sheriff's deputies arrested the boy at his home and took him to the Licking County Juvenile Detention Center.
He will likely be in court Thursday morning to face a judge.
The boy's name is not being released because of his age.
