DEVELOPING: Boy May Have Died After Stove Fell on Him

WHITEHALL (Kelsey Mallahan) -- Police say the death of a four-year-old boy at an apartment complex is suspicious.

Authorities were called out to 4613 Eastway Ct. Apt. H at approximately 2:00 p.m. Thursday on reports of an unconscious child.

When they got there, paramedics tried to revive the boy, who has been identified as Carlos Mullins Jr., but were unsuccessful.

After further investigation, police say it appears a kitchen stove was pulled over on top of Mullins Jr.  An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning.

Detectives have questioned the parents and other relations, but nobody has been charged.  Police say the child was being cared for by his mom at the time this happened.

There were other children in the house at the time, but none of them were injured.
