OSU Stadium Renovations Continue

COLUMBUS -- Renovations at Ohio Stadium moved the Buckeyes' spring game to Cincinnati, but school officials say regular season games won't be moved from the Horseshoe.
Workers are currently repairing cracks in sections 1A through 14A as part of a 2 year effort to replace the waterproof sealant throughout the stadium's concrete sections.
The sealant is replaced every 15 years to maintain usage of the stadium's concrete, which dates to the 1920s on the Horseshoe's A level.
The renovation of the north sections has resulted in the removal of that area's seats, forcing organizers to move the stage at the upcoming graduation ceremony to the south end zone for the first time in the stadium's history.
School officials are confident that all upcoming major events scheduled to take place inside the stadium -- including Buckeye football games -- will be held as planned.
