BEYOND THE GAME: Former Buckeye Now Sneaker Designer

COLUMBUS -- Former Buckeye fullback Dionte Johnson teamed with childhood friend Dez Scales to create a cutting edge sneaker design that has been picked up by industry giant Vans.
Their creation, dubbed Carmen, goes on sale Saturday. The new sneaker, which retails for $110, is taken from the Ohio license plate and
the Ohio State alma mater Carmen Ohio.
