12.5% Yes
87.5% No

Comment: Let's keep the focus on BP! This is their responsibility not President Obamas. He is doing the best that he can. If someone can do better, then get out there and do it! from Powell, OH by Lori

Comment: I believe that by not stepping in the government is trying to ensure that full responsibility for the clean up rests on BP, but at this level of devastation there is no longer a valid reason for the Government to not intervene. from Columbus by Toni

Comment: I do not believe the government should be responsible for the neglect of a multi-billion dollar corp. My question would be where the US Government was when then pipeline was installed. Making sure that all saftey measures were in place in the event that this tragedy would happen? The main reason I am bringing this up, I was in the automotive repair business for 28 years and was forced to be in compliance with some very strict regulations when it came to containing and disposing of my used oils. Safety valves, back up spill containment, removal manifest and more. I can go on and on.This pipeline is assembled with bolted flanges why do they have to keep trying to cut the pipe. Why can't they remove the damage section and install new?????? from Mansfield, Ohio by Ron
