Comment: It was announced, many years ago, that Leno would retire and O'Brien would take over. NBC couldn't pull another Letterman on O'Brien, but they had to know that O'Brien's "humor" and gags weren't right for the job. If Leno is willing to return to "The Tonight Show", I believe the viewers will welcome him. Perhaps a break from O'Brien until September will help people realize there never was anything entertaining about him; he was just the freak show that ran every night on television? from Mansfield by Ruth

Comment: NBC told Leno he'd be great at 10pm. Leno told them he didn't think it would work at that time. But NBC said they did "studies" and it would. So they offered him two years, then pulled it 4 months later..... then Leno asked to be release from his contract after they pulled him from the 10 show and they refused. Plus Conan can't compete with Letterman. He can't get ratings. So until he's a contendar he'll have to watch The Tonight Show with Jay Leno! from Zanesville, OH by Ashley
