Comment: However it looks like they took the weekend off before even sending help into the area which if they had came on Friday or Saturday it could have made a huge difference from Circleville Oh by Dave
Comment: I am still without electrical power. 3 days ago there were 8 trucks sitting idle for 3 hours . , only a few miles from my home. They were doing nothing! My power could have been on 4 days ago. I have no sympathy for them. I work everyday too.At a thankless job.The people that contract from AEP such as Asplund Tree service don't work hard anytime of the year. This is no exception. It is their job to get the lines repaired. This entire mess could have been repaired days ago and forgotten about , if Electrical workers didn't think they are special. They are not special they are laymen and just have a job to do. But do it very slowly. from New Straitsville , Ohio by Danny
Comment: While I believe the linemen were working as hard as they could, AEP's communication about what they were wroking on and why was poor. Furthermore their executive leadership is at least partially responsible for the impact and duration of the outage. They have not done enough to shore up the infrastructure from these kinds of mass long term outages that seem to occur every 3 to 4 years. from Columbus/Ohio by Nick
Comment: I had no Power for 8 nights during the hottest week of the year, I spent so much money eating out gassing up my car to keep cool and a generator was loaned to me that only ran a fan and tv and it needed refilled ever 3 hours I lost all my food and couldnt let my children even stay home for a week it was miserable and now they want to throw charges back at us I wish there was another company to use. from Columbus/Ohio by Cynthia
