MORROW COUNTY -- Police and family members of Holly McMillen are asking questions after she is found crumpled in the middle of the road with serious injuries.
McMillen had an argument with her boyfriend and took off walking leaving her home in rural Morrow County Friday night.
When she didn't return, her boyfriend Chris Sowash drove off looking for her.
Sowash said he picked her up, took her home, and asked a neighbor to call 9-1-1.
The sheriff said McMillen had facial injuries, cuts, gashes as well as a fracture in her neck.
When the neighbor called 9-1-1, he said she got hit by a car, but the sheriff says he isn't completely sure that's what happened.
Holly McMillen spent two days unconscious at Grant Medical Center. She is conscious now and says she remembers being on a bridge over I-71 which is about four miles from where her boyfriend found her in the road.
Witnesses say they did see Chris Sowash looking for his girlfriend, and all stories seem to check out.
The sheriff's office is still investigating whether or not Holly McMillen was assaulted or hit by a car.
Anyone with information about what might have happened to Holly McMillen the night of March 29th, call the Morrow Co. Sheriff's Office.
