COLUMBUS -- A woman has been reunited with her car after it was stolen overnight near SR 161 and Sinclair Road.
Police used her security tracking system to find the car and the suspect was still inside it.
The suspect allegedly stole the car from a gas station in Northeast Columbus when the victim left it running while she was throwing away trash from the car.
The suspect jumped in and took off with the car but not for long.
The "On-Star" system was able to disable the car. Police got to the scene and arrested the suspect.
He has not yet been charged, but police say he likely faces receiving stolen property charges.
The woman was able to identify her car and what was inside as well.
