UPDATE: Former Ohio Lawmaker Sentenced in Court

UPDATE -- The judge sentenced Clayton Luckie to three years behind bars and to pay back $11,000.

COLUMBUS (AP) -- A former Ohio state lawmaker indicted on 49 charges of theft, corruption and money laundering is headed to court.
Authorities say Dayton Democrat Clayton Luckie skimmed nearly $130,000 in campaign funds for personal use and failed to list campaign expenditures for six years.
Luckie pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.
He announced he wouldn't seek re-election amid the investigation but declined to resign, serving out a fourth term that ended Dec. 31.
House Democratic leaders stripped Luckie of his committee assignments last year after he was indicted, and he didn't return to the Statehouse for any votes.
