Two Teens Arrested in 15-Year-Old's Murder

COLUMBUS -- Two teens have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Linden-McKinley freshman.
Investigators say Jesean Callender and Shyquan Washington hid behind a house near a Cleveland Ave. alley on January 17, then ambushed 15-year-old Keawaun Coleman as he passed on his way home from school.
Washington, 17, allegedly passed a gun to Callender, 15, who opened fire on Coleman.
After the shooting, Coleman entered a nearby McDonald's, where he collapsed. The teen died later that day at OSU's Wexner Medical Center.
A possible motive for the shooting has not been released, but a Linden-McKinley student told ABC 6/FOX 28 it may have stemmed from a disagreement over a romantic relationship involving Coleman and an unidentified female.
Prosecutors have requested permission to try Washington as an adult, and may choose to do so with Callendar as well.
