Two in Custody Following Highway Hit-Skip Accident

COLUMBUS -- Columbus Police are investigating a hit skip accident that occurred on E Livingston Avenue near I-70 early Sunday morning.
According to police, two vehicles were involved in the accident on E Livingston Ave just east of Alum Creek Drive. One of the vehicles fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle was reportedly located on I-70 not too far from the scene and officers were able to track down and take two individuals into custody with the help of the Columbus Police Helicopter.
Emergency responders needed to cut at least one victim out of the wreckage. That passenger was taken to Grant Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Two other victims from the crash were also transported in stable condition to Grant Medical Center.
This incident remains under investigation, and as we receive more information, we will update this story.
