Updated: Thursday, March 21 2013, 07:19 PM EDT
COLUMBUS -- One person was shot in the leg near 4500 E. Livingston Ave. and transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.
Police say one suspect is in custody, but another remains on the loose.
They are talking to witnesses, and don't have any good leads at this point.
A "kid" went home and told his mom that he had heard gunshots when he was near Shady Lane Elementary School.
He didn't realize until his mom noticed his leg was bleeding.
The school was placed on lock down for about 30 minutes until police said it was okay to clear.
