Probation For Bexley School Teacher Fatal Crash

COLUMBUS -- A man has been sentenced to probation in the crash that killed a popular Bexley school teacher.
Eric Bowles was give five years probation on the condition he doesn't violate any conditions.
Otherwise the judge told Bowles he'd send him to prison.
Bowles was convicted in January of aggravated vehicular homicide for the crash that killed Molly Davis more than two years ago.
The University District man admitted to running a red light at N. High and E. Torrence Road in Clintonville but Bowles, who has a history of mental illness, said at the time he didn't realize what he did was wrong.
Davis taught 5th grade at Cassingham elementary school and was about to retire after 40 years.
