Updated: Tuesday, March 5 2013, 05:30 PM EST
COLUMBUS (AP) -- Spring might be near, but you'd never know it in Ohio and other parts of the Midwest.
The National Weather Service has put Central Ohio under either a winter storm warning from 4 p.m. Tuesday to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
That's because the biggest storm of the winter is now sweeping through the Midwest.
National Weather Service forecasters say rain will change to snow Tuesday night, bringing as much as 4 to 6 inches of snow to parts of eastern and central Ohio.
On Monday, the system moved east across the Dakotas and Minnesota, dropping up to a foot of snow in some areas and freezing rain in others.
Chicago could see 10 inches of snow by the end of Tuesday.
