CIRCLEVILLE -- Pickaway County Sheriff's deputies are taking part in "active shooter training" at local schools Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sheriff Ratcliff says 15 deputies will be taking part in classroom training as well as simulated active shooter training at Westfall High School and Middle School.
Franklin County SWAT officers are the trainers for Pickaway County.
The Sheriff says he will then meet with the superintendents of the schools on Thursday for a response plan for each school.
