Persons of Interest in Custody in Hilliard Burglary String

HILLIARD -- Police have taken 2 persons of interest into custody in connection with a string of more than 40 burglaries on the city's Southwest Side.
Officers were investigating suspicious activity in the parking lot of a shopping plaza at Hilliard-Rome Road and Nike Dr. when two unidentified males attempted to flee on foot, according to investigators.
No charges have been filed in connection with the robberies, or the alleged attempt to flee the officers.
