UPDATE:  There is now a danger sign on the door of the house next door.

Those residents now have to vacate their home because of the danger from falling bricks.

COLUMBUS -- A porch roof under construction collapsed on a home at 661 Dennison Ave. at Poplar St. in Victorian Village.

A couple that was walking their dogs heard the collapse and called 9-1-1 about 7:30 a.m.  However, they say they didn't see it happen.

No one was at home when the front of the home collapsed so no one was injured.

Building inspectors were at the home and have put up danger signs.

The homeowner says they started renovating the home in August of 2012 and had hoped to be done with the renovations in August of this year.

She says, "all you can do is move forward."

Columbus fire crews are monitoring the home and have Dennison Ave closed between Poplar and Hunter because they fear the entire home might collapse.
