Ohio Village Ravages By a Tornado Still Rebuilding

MOSCOW (AP) -- The tiny Ohio River village of Moscow will mark the anniversary of a devastating tornado with a community gathering.
Village administrator Sandra Ashba says residents Saturday will share a pot-luck dinner and tales of survival from the storm and the recovery efforts of the past year.
Village leaders also want to discuss the future for a community that dates to 1816.
A council member was killed, and all 101 structures in Moscow had some damage.
Nearly half had major damage.
Twelve homes were destroyed, and the village hall and post office were heavily damaged.
The post office re-opened this week in the community center, and new council chambers are being readied there.
Village officials are hoping to draw back some residents who left and attract new ones.
