Updated: Sunday, February 3 2013, 11:49 AM EST
WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE -- The Fayette County Sheriff and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are looking into what caused an ODOT plow to overturn early Sunday morning.
It happened around 3:30 am on February 3, 2013 on US 41 near Civic Drive just north of Washington Court House.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff, all of US 41 was closed due to a large salt spill on the road.
Fire officials also responded to the scene to help contain the salt as well as some hydraulic fluid that also spilled. The Sheriff's office said there was no hazardous material risk to local residents.
Crews on scene are waiting for an ODOT loader to assist in the salt clean up. The road will remain closed indefinitely until the crash and salt can be cleared from the roadway.
No serious injuries were reported.
