COLUMBUS -- Record warmth on Tuesday and a strong cold front that pushed through brought very strong storms Wednesday morning just in time for rush hour.
At the height of the storm, there were hundreds without power.
Wires blew down at 4166 Groveport Rd. at Victor Ave. in Obetz. Police had the area blocked off as a precaution.
There was no thunder and lightning with these storms, but there were wind speeds of 50 miles per hour.
Temperatures around midnight were near 60 degrees and are quickly falling through the 50's and even down into the 40's with a chance of light snow overnight.
