More Traffic & Delays at Polaris
Updated: Monday, March 18 2013, 08:03 PM EDT
COLUMBUS -- Traffic was backed up for miles over the weekend for the Polaris exits.
People were tweeting and taking pictures of the excessive traffic.
Many of them were blaming the opening of Cabelas.
ODOT is considering building a new exit just north of Polaris to hopefully cut down on the traffic backups, but for now there is no time table.
The City of Columbus Public Services Department also said that there is nothing that they can do to time the traffic lights different to increase the flow any more than what they already have.
