Miller Ave. Power Power Pole Crash

COLUMBUS -- American Electric Power crews are having to replace a power pole that was taken down in an early morning crash.

Police say a vehicle went over the curb hitting the pole and a fire hydrant on Miller Avenue at Columbus Street.

The power pole was split in half and the wires were draped on a homeowner's front step.

The car took off from the scene.  No one was injured.

City electric crews came out to the scene and cut the power to the wires which affected the entire street.

Crews have not been able to find anyone who witnessed the crash.
