HEBRON -- The Licking County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a man out of a police chase overnight.
The pursuit started after the car failed to pull over for Hebron Police on a standard traffic stop. The pursuit lasted around five minutes and ended on the Lakewood High School Football field on Lancer Road in Hebron around 2:30 am.
According to the Sheriff's Office, once that pursuit ended, the driver fled into the surrounding area.
Lakewood Local Schools, which has three schools in the immediate area, have closed all buildings today due to the search. Sheriff's officials say they are currently searching all the school buildings in the area of where the pursuit ended for the suspects as well as surrounding fields and wooded areas.
Descriptions of the suspects were not immediately available.
