COLUMBUS – An Ohio State University student says she saw a man exposing himself to joggers and cyclists on a popular trial near campus.
Dantelle Carroll, a senior marketing major, says she saw the man on the Olentangy Trail Thursday morning. She says he caught her attention because he was wearing winter clothes on one of the warmest days this spring.
“Everyone is eager to get out on the bike path,” Carroll said. “It’s that time of year.”
Carroll says she say the man expose himself. She quickly flagged down a cyclist and called 911, but she says he left before police could arrive.
“We need to be aware of our surroundings,” she said. “That’s the only way to prevent things like this. If that person isn’t caught, he’s just going to do it again. It’s just a matter of time.”
She describes him as a short white man in his late 20’s wearing a red skull cap, a black OSU hoodie and baggy jeans.
