Man Who Died During Rescue Attempt Laid to Rest

COLUMBUS -- A hero was laid to rest Thursday, as central Ohioans gathered to celebrate a man who gave his life trying to save a small boy.
James Jenkins died on February 7 after rushing into an apartment complex's retention pond in an attempt to rescue 5-year-old Elijah Walker, who had fallen into the freezing water. Walker died 3 days later.
