Man Critically Hurt in Dirtbike Accident

MADISON COUNTY, Ohio -- A teenager is in critical condition following a dirtbike accident on Langston Road.
Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers say the dirtbike and a truck collided on the road when the truck turned into a driveway. Troopers cite "miscommunication" between operators as the cause of the accident.
The 18-year-old on the dirtbike is not being identified at this time but troopers say he was taken to Riverside Hospital with lacerations to his neck.
First responders say the fast actions by neighbors and witnesses could save the man's life. Neighbors rushed outside and applied towels to the man's cuts in an attempt to stop the bleeding.
