MARION -- The accused gunman in a murder-for-hire plot was found guilty Wednesday of fatally shooting a young mother.
A jury convicted Raymond Bertuzzi of all six counts with which he was charged, including aggravated murder and aggravated burglary.
Investigators said Bertuzzi shot Amy Aldrich in the head in her home in February, 2012 as part of a plot hatched by Aldrich's ex-boyfriend, Bo Cook.
Cook -- a friend of Bertuzzi's -- pleaded guilty to his role in Aldrich's murder, and is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence.
Bertuzzi denies killing Aldrich, and was not identified as the shooter by a teen witness who was inside the home at the time of the murder, but did not see the gunman's face. Prosecutors, however, say that teen was able to identify the killer's shoes, which they say belonged to Bertuzzi.
