DELAWARE COUNTY -- A suspect has turned himself into deputies after his run from police forced several Olentangy Schools to be locked down Wednesday.
Investigators say Andrew Ankrim turned himself in several hours after being reported as a suspicious person while walking along Liberty Road.
Ankrim, who was wanted on outstanding warrants for unpaid child support and alcohol-related offenses, was taken into custody by deputies on Wednesday morning, but escaped after being taken to his house to get identification.
Eight Olentangy Schools were locked down as a precautionary measure as deputies searched the area for Ankrim.
