NEWARK -- A man was flown to a Columbus hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in an assault.
The incident happened about 2:15 p.m. where a man was beaten with a brick outside the Party House carryout store on Mt. Vernon Avenue.
Witnesses say there was a group of teens who beat the man severely in the side of the head.
